Hi all, this is mysecond attempt at this, the first bombed out, so lets keep it short.

Having trouble finding good places to go hovering on the weekend.

The misses says that I should first ride the c**p aout of the thing and almost get bord of it, like that will ever happen, then take to the water. She knows how upset I get when something goes wrong, been with me the whole project. So far its the Rugby field (Public) and to get the place to myseld is a bit tricky. We have been thinking about the school, much bigger than the municipal fields but next to the gold cource plus there's the headmaster to get around. http://hovercraft.org.uk/images/icons/smiley_icons/icon_twisted.gif then there is the air strip, this too seems good but again, red tape, doen't know who will be in charge of that.

Anyway.

Went out again Sunday and had my sister and mother with this time. After a worm up lap and a nice 6 500 revs all the way, found myself pleased with the craft. Handed it over to my sister and, and, http://hovercraft.org.uk/images/icons/smiley_icons/icon_eek.gif almost down a ditch.

So decided to try and ride back with her as 100 metres is just too far to walk. Jumped in and off we went... http://hovercraft.org.uk/images/icons/smiley_icons/icon_biggrin.gif TOTALY AMAZED http://hovercraft.org.uk/images/icons/smiley_icons/icon_biggrin.gif

So next was my mom and sister together. and so on.

A great day.

Am having trouble with the splitter adjuster, it is impossible to move when on trottle, need to be just on cushion and then only can you muster the strength to move it, also keeping it there is another Stronges Man Challenge. Must make a plan with it.

Took some more video if your interested. Mail me and I'll send it to you.

I went 5 minutes down the road and asked a local farmer - told him it would be the odd occasion rather than regular and he said fine as long as he can have a go

the neighbouring farmer came along and offered me a bigger field (as long as he could have a go)

gave them both a bottle of whisky for christmas - i can go when i like

worth a try - the worst is they can say no

After a worm up lap

Is this a new, as yet undocumented, effect of hovercraft?

All the farms around here are game farms with head high grass and thorn tries, not like over there buy you, so that's out.

Good sugestion though. thnaks.

You have never heard of the worn up lap? Gosh old boy have you ever even grasped the concept of protecting the family from fatal injury and certain death by flying propeller parts. Any decent man would old chap. ( voice of Sean Connery )
