Are you saying that you don't need flow straighteners and would be better off with an elevator instead? Don't they do two completely different jobs?

I'm pretty sure he means flow straigteners.

no i mean elevators!

i just fitted a set in the back of my duct,

instead of flow straighteners, and the difference

to the flow is amazing!

worth thinking about!

I see.

I used to have similar in the back of my first cyclone but got a 10% increase in thrust when I replaced them with some proper ones. Now that's worth thinking about!!
