Hello All,

Before anyone says GO ROTAX to late http://hovercraft.org.uk/images/icons/smiley_icons/icon_lol.gif

I know these engines are a bit dated and the parts are hard to come by.(As im just about to find out.)

Anyone know where I could get hold of an exhaust, crank adaptor and most probaly a few other things in the near future?

Health Warning.

Consumption of Alchohol and use of Ebay should be avoided at all time.

One bid whilst under the influence may seem a good idea at the time but at the end of the auction could damage your wealth.

Who would be stupid enough to do that then? http://hovercraft.org.uk/images/icons/smiley_icons/icon_rolleyes.gif

I might be able to help you with EC44 parts. I have some piston s, rings, magnetos, crankcase. etc.

I can also furnish you with a drawing for a tuned exhaust. However, it is currently in a box, having just moved. Crank adaptor will depend on what you want it to do. Crank end should be a 30-30-27 Taper. i.e. 27dia at the end, 30mm dia at 30mm long. Crank bolt is a unf thing 1/2" rings a bell. I'll have to look it up.

I've got a spare engine and some parts as well, both for the EC44-2PM and EC44PM-02. (...on one of them the crank is a bit longer than the other.)

The dual exhaust system was last used in 2002, and is a bit rusty. It's probably not worth the shipping costs from the US.

Im just getting a new pulley machined for my robin motor 1:10 taper on shaft, will send you a copy of my pulley diagram when I get it back from machinist.

Just puting a brand new EC44pm into my hover as the old one was getting a little tired..

Took the new one in for some pre installation mods had pistons skirted, a little port polishing and the heads machined to raise compression. Hopefully it wont go bang to quickly http://hovercraft.org.uk/images/icons/smiley_icons/icon_confused.gif

The blackice domain appears to be down... If anyone wants the manual & notes I have it all in a folder I downloaded a few years back. PM me with an email address and I'll forward it on.

Chris.
