Ok, so someone appears to have altered the initial scrutiny form in the download section! http://hovercraft.org.uk/images/icons/smiley_icons/icon_rolleyes.gif

It now appears to only apply to racing craft! Where can I get one for my cruising craft?

Im sure that the old form that used to be on there was for both crusing and racing because it had boxes to allow you to input what grade of open water the craft was for etc http://hovercraft.org.uk/images/icons/smiley_icons/icon_confused.gif

Im confused now!

sorry dunc all crusing has been cancelled and has been taken over by racing! LOL! you cant go to a crusing event anymore, its now a coastal championship event, which everyones craft but gavins and russes don't meet the specs!

oh and as your craft is made of sheet material, it automatically qualifies for sod all, and can only be used at club events which are not races! but as all club events are now classed as races sorry! lOL!

It is all my fault!

I updated the initial scrutineering form for racing, & asked Andy to replace it on the web site. I should have asked him to put the new one on as an addition.

I will try to send you a copy of the old form as an attachment to a PM. If you don't get it could you give me your email address?

I will ask Andy to put the old form back on.

SORRY for the inconvenience.

Hmm...Jon you might have a scarily true point...shall we start the HCGBSM ? (Hovercraft Club of Great Britain for Sheet Material) http://hovercraft.org.uk/images/icons/smiley_icons/icon_twisted.gif

would the HCGBSM permit composite sheet materials? Or do I need to start the HCGBCSM? http://hovercraft.org.uk/images/icons/smiley_icons/icon_wink.gif

Technically foam comes in sheet form so that would be allowed...All members would have to strictly frown upon those who choose to use a mold http://hovercraft.org.uk/images/icons/smiley_icons/icon_razz.gif
