Some great pictures of 194 being rescued numerous times. Thank you for preserving the memories.

Hi all

I never even realised there was hovercraft racing practically on my doorstep until my friend told me about it on the Sunday and suggested I go to practice my photography.

In the end, I came down on the Bank Holiday Monday and rattled off almost 700 shots.

I've put some of my favourites on Flickr. (www.flickr.com/photos/59862455@N00/)

Apologies if I got any of the names wrong; I was matching the numbers with the results.

Wow. Those are some really clear shots! Doesn't look like you need much practice http://hovercraft.org.uk/images/icons/smiley_icons/icon_smile.gif

Thanks. Hopefully, as I get better, I'll be able to get 40 decent shots out of 700. http://hovercraft.org.uk/images/icons/smiley_icons/icon_wink.gif

Here are the same pictures in a gallery (www.balmerlawn.f2s.com/060529gangwarily/index.htm) which should be a lot easier to view.

I've finally got round to uploading a lot more images to Photobox (www.photoboxgallery.com/aldeman/3302310) where you can also buy prints.

Sorry for bumping such an old thread but I've received some quite exciting news about this picture (www.flickr.com/photos/59862455@N00/155996189/in/set-72157594269220386/).

I've been contacted by a book publisher in New York who want to use that photo in one of their forthcoming books (bookshop.blackwell.co.uk/jsp/welcome.jsp?source=rss&isbn=0977985016). We've agreed terms, so now I've just got to wait for the publication.

Hopefully the weather will be better at Gang Warily this year for some brighter shots.
