I'm new to the hovercraft scene, and have looked at plans for a few years, but I have finally decided I want to build one. I was looking at the UH13p for several reasons, one of which is that I'm in high school and I could procure a ~25hp engine(probably used) fairly cheaply. I have thought about designing my own and that is still an option, but plans are easier and a safer bet of working well.

I would appreciate any plan suggestions or any critique on the UH13p. Or if anyone has tips on just building from scratch, anything helps.

Thanks,

John

John,

If you want specific advice on building a UH-13P, you should also post at the Hoverclub of America forum, since there are many 13P builders that hang out there (not that there aren't any in the UK).

I would have, but you have to be a member to be on the forums (membership costs money of course). So I came to you guys.

Try below and there is one being built in the UK as we have just started but we are using a 10bhp lift engine and a 50bhp thrust running a 3 blade 72" prop.

You can post in the "local chapters" section without being a member and having to log in.
