Hello all,

Would anyone have the pattern(s) for the skirt segments for a fenland flyer circa 1996.

Once owned by Scott Tiley.

Also how many segments per square yard could be made?

I know it will depend a lot on how you cut the sections out.

Thanks in advance

Hello Again,

Decided to pick a couple of worn segments apart last night.

Looks like one was a copy of the other.

Where the stiching for the larger piece goes is the outer edge of the smaller one.

I presume the larger one is the original as most of the skirt is of the same colour and material.

How critical is it were talking about 0.5 cm difference.

Probably not a lot. After much searching I found my old F Flyer pattern. Do you want it to compare (it's less than detailed)

Hello All.

Well the plot thickens.

Whilst waiting for stuff I removed all the skirt from the craft.

Im now more confused.

Two differnt types of segment.Chip and pressure.Understand that.

Three different colours of material.Unpicked.

All three are different sizes.

The blue looks like it outer edge is where the sew lines of the black ones are.The green ones are 2 inches shorter on its outer edges where the fixing loops are but seem to be the same depth in the middle.

As its said theres no such thind as a standard hovercraft.
