How come we never have a parts swap?

With so many craft using a relatively small range of parts - same few engines, same few fans etc, how come there's never an opportunity to bring and buy?

Are we all so wealthy that we chuck our unwanted stuff away, or do people keep it all stashed in the garage ???

Regards,

Richard E.

All the parts I have stashed in the loft have gone past their servicable life....they would make good paperweights if anyone wants them http://hovercraft.org.uk/images/icons/smiley_icons/icon_rolleyes.gif

On a different subject....why dont I throw them away http://hovercraft.org.uk/images/icons/smiley_icons/icon_eek.gif

Pile of nackered fan blades....Old pulleys and belts...General pointless stuff and more junk... Basically...Nothing of value or use to anyone really

why not list the items.

Who knows you may have the last bit in the jigsaw puzzle to get a craft working.

Not everyone can afford 100 a time on pulley set ups etc.

I know im borrowing the ones i have.

If it wasnt for someone on this forum i wouldnt have got a broken 900mm thrust duct to play with for nothing. Now who was that??? http://hovercraft.org.uk/images/icons/smiley_icons/icon_rolleyes.gif Oh yes Richard http://hovercraft.org.uk/images/icons/smiley_icons/icon_biggrin.gif

the idea playing around with fiberglass.

If it all goes wrong ive lost nothing if all goes ok got another duct for the second hull I have.Unless the slugs have eaten by now.
