Well this was an incredible weekend....I must have been concentrating so hard on what I was doing and trying not to sh*t myself with fear that I didnt see anyone taking photos http://hovercraft.org.uk/images/icons/smiley_icons/icon_eek.gif . So a big thankyou to Rebecca for the incredible photos of my craft flying around on saterday http://hovercraft.org.uk/images/icons/smiley_icons/icon_smile.gif

And also a big thanks to everyone else who helped me out and made me feel a part of the club even though I was terrified for most of it http://hovercraft.org.uk/images/icons/smiley_icons/icon_biggrin.gif

Oh, and what happened to charlies hand? I missed that too http://hovercraft.org.uk/images/icons/smiley_icons/icon_confused.gif is he ok?

yes you did look a bit freaked out!! http://hovercraft.org.uk/images/icons/smiley_icons/icon_eek.gif http://hovercraft.org.uk/images/icons/smiley_icons/icon_eek.gif

I think the challenge of the severn cruise is to get back on the land after!! http://hovercraft.org.uk/images/icons/smiley_icons/icon_mad.gif

glad they talked you into having another run up.

you looked like you wanted to give up.

last year it was alot muddier.

and you couldn't get out the craft unless you were stepping on to the grass, or you would of got stuck in it. http://hovercraft.org.uk/images/icons/smiley_icons/icon_twisted.gif

glad you had fun!!

it was fun to watch!!

Well it looks like you all had a great time. Glad to see Duncan got his craft out on public view - how did it do?

I was only 15 miles away further up river, but in the middle of sorting out our new house. I'll be there next year.

wish we could've come but due to both crafts being broken, we couldn't!

if anyone has any pictures that they want up in the gallery, let me or richard know.

Hehee...I did want to give up http://hovercraft.org.uk/images/icons/smiley_icons/icon_rolleyes.gif

I was kinda annoyed that I had increased the fan pitch a bit to much so I was short of power.....If I hadnt insisted on fiddling with the damn thing I think I would have made that bank the first time rather than 3rd http://hovercraft.org.uk/images/icons/smiley_icons/icon_cool.gif

(I also would have been able to get over hump....and not got so wet http://hovercraft.org.uk/images/icons/smiley_icons/icon_evil.gif )

Im sure I will think of some more excuses shortly http://hovercraft.org.uk/images/icons/smiley_icons/icon_lol.gif

Edited to say: Does anyone have any video footage from the weekend that they would be willing to share?
