Mike King got a very respectable 2nd place in F1 at Jakes at the weekend http://hovercraft.org.uk/images/icons/smiley_icons/icon_lol.gif . What nobody knew was that he had snapped his radius bone in his left arm http://hovercraft.org.uk/images/icons/smiley_icons/icon_eek.gif and then raced in the final F1 race like this. Daniel Turnbull summed it up completely by saying "mike you are a bloody nutter". Enough said. http://hovercraft.org.uk/images/icons/smiley_icons/icon_biggrin.gif

http://hovercraft.org.uk/images/icons/smiley_icons/icon_eek.gif Surely this serious injury should have been noticed by the medical team that I assume checked him over after the first incident and he should have been taken straight to hospital not allowed to continue into another race.

If you don't admit that their is a problem there is little any medical person can do.

the medic's don't have xray vision. http://hovercraft.org.uk/images/icons/smiley_icons/icon_eek.gif

but wouldn't it be great if they did!!

you can't always feel if you have realy done any damage sometime till the next day. http://hovercraft.org.uk/images/icons/smiley_icons/icon_surprised.gif

and some people do hide it cause they don't want to make a fuss.

hope all those nutter's who damaged themself's this weekend recover well. http://hovercraft.org.uk/images/icons/smiley_icons/icon_biggrin.gif

When I broke my arm I didn't know about it until 2 weeks later when I went for rib X-rays. The arm didn't hurt anywhere near as much as the ribs. The ribs weren't broken (well not that time anyway!).
