Does anyone happen to know roughly what range of diameter fuel pipe the EC44 needs as the engine is currently being fitted to it's frame and having the pulleys lined up so i can't get the measurements myself.

Many thanks in advance,

Peter

Mine had 6mm on it and ran for 3 years with no problems but use proper fuel line that is marked petrol not the c**p clear plastic stuff you can buy as it goes brittle and is dangerous.

Okay a few more questions now:

Anybody know whether the EC44 killswitch is PTM or PTB??

Is the EC44 output clock or Anti - the manual says it's anticlock as viewed from driving shaft so do i want clock or anticlock fan blades??

Will a digital Tacho suitable for use on "Briggs & Stratton, Honda, Kohler etc." be suitable for the EC44??

Thats all (for now)

Many thanks in advance

1. To earth to kill

2. 5ZL

3. No but you can get a digital tacho that will be ok look on ebay in the karting section but do ask if its for a 2 stroke kart failing that try Light Aero Spares on 01837 54747 they did do them and also analogue ones but do specify its for a EC44 Fuji as they do also do analogue ones for Rotax and they read wrong due to the different amount of generator coils.

2. Just ask for 4ZL but you would get more thrust using 5ZL we used 9x5ZL on ours in a 925mm duct at 40deg.

were only using a 750 mil duct though so Chris (Daly) was advising 4Zs

you say 5zs hmmm.... I shall look into it

We had a 750 duct to start with using 9x5ZL but to get even more performance we fitted the 925mm duct. And 5ZL blades have just come down in price big time from KM products.

im actually about to put in a large(ish) order to K & M for our stuff

so 5ZLs (I assume the L sorts the clock or anti question)

Yep your right on the rotation the L means standing behind the craft wind in your face the blades will spin anti-clock as you face them and this is right for you.
