FYI:

I think I've read somewhere that India graduates more engineers than the USA, and China three times that. If there is any truth in this we might see something come out of Asia in the next few years which will turn some heads.

If you are wondering what India is up to, check out the SHAASTRA link below. I see in the "GALLERY" photo section a robotic hovercraft which is odd looking, didn't know what I was looking at, at first.

It's my own design for my office, first letter of my last name.

When I did it the closest thing it was to is maybe the Miller & Kreisel (MK) logo - they make subwoofers.

I could not find the scuba logo you are refering to, it sounds interesting.

I just did a logo for the Great Lakes Hovercraft Group, I've done a bunch of logos over the years.

Hi

I thought the international flag for 'a diver in the water' was a blue/white check?

Or is that out of date now?

Hi,

yes, I found something similar...

In my defence I'd like to point out that although I grew up by the sea there weren't too many divers in the Humber as the water is so cloudy with silt you can't see more than an inch in front of you...

Also Mr. Rhodes threw me off balance by stating that it's the 'British' scuba flag.

<did I get away with it?>

peter.

i spent years diving off the peninsular out of withernsea. we used to dive the ss canada. still got portholes and bridge windows off it.

and you would not see a thing if you were diving in the estuary itself.

the "a flag" is used mostly by uk divers operating under bsac rules.

padi the american driven option uses a red cross on a white background. international divers amongst us will recognise this one.
