Three questions:

Does it come in horizontal shaft?

Does it shake itsself apart less quickly than the old 25 used to?

Are the coils sealed?

It looks pretty heavy at 60kg (or is that normal for a 4 stroke, i'm not sure http://hovercraft.org.uk/images/icons/smiley_icons/icon_confused.gif)

It is heavy - but it is an industrial engine. The smaller block engines (B&S 18-26hp) weigh in around 36-40Kg. Weight isn't the only problem - check out the price http://hovercraft.org.uk/images/icons/smiley_icons/icon_eek.gif http://hovercraft.org.uk/images/icons/smiley_icons/icon_eek.gif

Twin choke carb! http://hovercraft.org.uk/images/icons/smiley_icons/icon_biggrin.gif

60kgs, that's quite a lump! And I've never been entirely sure that Kohler horses are the full 18 hands.

The 35bhp B&S is such a superb engine, it'd take quite a bit to drag me away from using them.....
