As I am looking for a suitable craft design for my huge model, I have come across this on you tube.

What craft is this? It has Chinese writing on the side.

The hovercraft is a MV-PP10 it is made in Japan by Mitsui Engineering and Shipbuilding. It is not jet powered but runs on diesel engines.

Always thought Vospers VT2 would make a nice scale model http://hovercraft.org.uk/images/icons/smiley_icons/icon_smile.gif

It was around 100ft in length and powered by two Rolls Royce Proteus marine turbines - same as those in the SR.N4...

Just a thought!

Actually looking at the Vospers VT2. Its quite close to what my finished beast is going to look like. The rear ducts are very similar and the hull design. And no sorry you cant catch a glimpse until shes under testing and working as she should.
