There is a Hovercraft Builder in the USA that is happy to supply a good quality tape that has a bouncy surface for want of a better description it is exceptionally good at repelling both water and sand far better than the stainless steel tape and easier to apply.
The tip tape. Tape price is $2.40 / ft. It depends on how it's shipped. If it's cut into strips, Say 12" or so, or winding a longer length around a piece of light cardboard, depending on the envelope,
I can ship it fairly cheap. Probably around 3 dollars or so depending on how heavy it is.
Just looked at the USPS web site and they have a priority mail
envelope for up to 4 pounds at a flat rate of $11.00.
So anybody wanting any contact the Jerry direct at the following
