On the advertising theme. I put last years Severn Treasure Hunt on many free websites that list local attractions and events. I got an email today from one of them...

"Hi

River Severn Hovercraft Treasure Hunt

Since you last posted an event to WhereCanWeGo.com, we have arranged with the Daily Telegraph that all events listed with us are repeated automatically on their website's Family Activity Planner.

This is bringing a new dimension to publicity and response, so we write today to ask you to make sure your upcoming events are posted without delay. Your usual email and WhereCanWeGo password are still valid and there is no need to do anything different from before. The Telegraph upload is handled our end at no cost or inconvenience to you.

Regards"

...things like this are free and would only take a few minutes to put you event on. Even if it only attracts a few people it's better than nothing!
