Custom engineered, designed and built for racing

This is a 2-engine hovercraft built in the winter of 2006



Specifications:

1) Lift system - 5hp Kawasaki vertical shaft engine, 4-blade 26" diameter fan.

2) Thrust engine - 20hp Kohler horizontal shaft V-twin engine, power converted using an 8mm synchronous timing belt on a 2:1 reduction, Ultra-light weight 2-blade 48x50 thrust prop.

3) Craft weight is 340lbs

4) 3-gallon gas tank (@20 miles/gallon, it's a 60 mile range)



This craft was designed on CAD and built using high-tech materials. Hull is built completely out of 5lb/ft^3 density Polypropylene Honeycomb (Plascore) and skinned with 8oz of biaxial fiberglass cloth and high-strength epoxy. (This craft will not rot)



Included is a fully operational craft, kill switches on both engines, all safety guarding, new skirt and a backup skirt (only as a template)



This craft is FAST!!! GPS clocked on water at +57mph with a 200lbs(plus) driver.



This hovercraft is capable of winning world class races with a good driver.
