Hi all.
I'm thinking off building a cruising craft and I'd like to do some stuff a little differently. Does anyone have any experience of the manufacture and use of centrifugal fans? Seem to be a bit of a black art. I've picked up snippets of info online but a little bit of info can be a dangerous thing!! Can anyone help at all?
Many thanks
Karl

Hi

There's been a number of threads on this recently:

http://www.hovercraft.org.uk/showthread.php?t=21452&highlight=centrifugal+fans

Also - a quick search reveals dozens of 'hits' in the online magazine archive - there'll be tons of info there.

Cheers
Ian

Hi!
Thanks for your help! Upon reading a few posts it seems it isn't such a great idea to use centrifugal fans. At least axial fans are easier to obtain. Anyone ever come across a Tesla turbine at all?
