I'm impressed by how well it handles the choppy conditions going sideways like that.

I was expecting the craft to rock back and forth more and throw up some spray, very good. !!!!

How many pubs did you hit on the way back.
Btw, I received the steering cables to-day and will be installing tomorrow. Will keep you updated.
Slán,
David.

Sorry David no pubs on this run. Maybe if you look closly you can see smoke from a potcheen still on the mountain. However the video ends on Derrymore beach which is the start point for a run with two quads heading further west. The trip has to cordinate pub opening times and tides, like a space shuttle launch we are fuelled up and waiting for a weather window. The furthest away pub of 4 is a 50 mins trip and involves a short section around a point which can be rough but the Scout should not have a problem now that Chris has carried out testing. Get that cable sorted and we will check it out. Its a bit like a Top Gear race, last time on the way out the quads won because there is a 6 mile beach section where they could outrun me on but I won on the way back as wind and tide favoured the hovercraft.

Scout and John Proof out for trials next w/e at ALSSA. New centre seat and cables fitted to Scout and John's 503 rebuilt and sounds good. Will let you know the outcome.
