Just tried starting it up to go on the snow, 503 started really easily, robin 250 not really. It starts and runs for a few seconds with choke, then dies (guessing fuel problem). When running or squeezing primer fuel shoots out the overflow hole.

It's got a bolt at the bottom with the jet screwed on, and it was covered in ice when I eventually got it out. I've just defrosted / cleaned it out, and it looks like it's missing a ball bearing stopper....? I'm guessing the ice could've squeezed it out, or with the cold it became looser (It's on a trailer, very cold up here, still loads of snow).

Here's a pic:

I reckon that hole is supposed to be filled with something as anything I put in the bowel comes out of it! If I can't find the bb in the bottom of the hull, what's a recommended solution?

Thanks!
Toby

Ah cheers, never thought of that. Would I put PTFE tape or thread locker?
