Does anyone here have any local knowledge relating to hovercrafting in the Wash? A hovercraft seems like the ideal way to explore the area, but I've never seen one out there.

I'm particularly interested in whether there's anywhere to keep a hovercraft on the edge of the Wash, since I live in Cambridge and haven't got either a car or anywhere to store a trailer down here.

Thanks in advance.

Hi and welcome, I have a feeling Kev might be able to help you there as it is not a million miles from him...

You might also like to post your question with the cruising club at http://hoverclub.org.uk/index.php

I think weather will be the bigest problem there though....

Kev?

Hi bjhxxI,

Sent you a PM.

As Brian says try www.hoverclub.org.uk (http://www.hoverclub.org.uk) and you will see sites that are listed for cruiseing around your area.
