I have a 1999 Subaru Forester (Jap import) 2.0ltr non turbo engine which I plan on using to power my explorer. As far as I'm aware the engine is totally unmodified and around 134 BHP. I need to locate a power curve graph for this engine so the gearing can be worked out for the prop & fans. I cant seem to find a power curve graph online. The nearest rolling road to me is over 200 miles away so trailering the car to get it dyno tested is not an option. Surely there must be somewhere online that I can get a basic power curve for a bog standard 2.0 ltr Subaru EJ20 engine, does anyone know where I can get one?

I have tried on several scooby forums and no one has responded to my pleas:(

I understand that Wouter runs a Subaru in his craft. He may be the one with the knowledge. He has recently replaced his engine.

Sorry, can't help here. My best Suby info page isn't up anymore.
https://www.facebook.com/ryan.t.tingley is a good source, he used to work with Subarus.

Cheers, Wouter

I think I have it sorted now thanks to Derek Sweetman. He pm'd me a link which I hope is the info that Bryan Phillips needs to work out what pulleys sizes I need on my explorer.

I am going to be using the 84" 3 bladed IVO air boat prop for thrust so thats why the different gearing to that on the plans.

Thanks for the help
