Hovercraft cruising.

If you want a more relaxed hovercrafting experience than the racing scene maybe cruising is for you.

Cruising is generally more peaceful and laid-back, though not always.

Most cruises are based around a camp site on a river estuary with the event starting on a Friday night as people and craft arrive. Saturday morning sees the craft heading out onto the water. Depending on the state of the tide there may be some gullies or mud flats to explore.

Perhaps a pub lunch will be called for before another expedition out on the river or down the coast and then back to base for the evening.

More extreme.

Of course cruising doesn't need to be to quiet. Each year an event is run on the river Rhone in France, Affectionately knows as the "Rhone Raid", craft cruise up the river for about 500 miles, though locks, up ramps, weirs and anything else they face.
The atmosphere is legendary and the smiles last for weeks afterwards.
