Here we go again.
'twas the night before racing and all though the house,
not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
But out in the garage or down in the shed,
was a tied mechanic longing for bed.

His knuckles are skinned, his hair it is thinning,
his skirt segments changed in the faint hope of winning.
The hull was been patched with duct tape a plenty,
the paint isn't matched, the Sikaflex? empty.

But be of strong heart oh industrious one,
it won't be too long now, you got so much done.
So tie up those last bits and next time remember.
There's no law against starting repairs in September.

The 2008 racing season starts tomorrow at Jake's Place, let's all hope it's a cracker.

Good luck to everyone involved, have a great season.

Web site updates.
It's that time of year again when we're getting ready for the new season.

With that in mind we're starting to add the new season's race meetings to the events page.

We have also updated the "Race cost calculator" for 2008. This saves a lot of time at race meetings so please fill one in before each race meeting and be sure to bring it along.

There is also a new version of the "New Driver Racing Guidelines". If this is your first season racing, download this and have a read.

There will be plenty of other additions as the season progresses but in the mean time, dust off your racing trousers or your cruiser's jacket and get out there!
