    Default Keep picture sizes small

    Hi Folks,

I know that the uploading of pictures is a great feature of the new forums but please will you keep the pictures small.

As a rule of thumb you can attach pictures up the the maximum allowed but don't include the images in the body of the messages if they are over 640x480.

This way people without broadband can still take part and the rest of us can still get to the images when we want. Also, there's little point in including 1280x960 pictures of your pulley, bearing block or whatever, in the middle of the message, give us the link and we'll get them if we can help.

    Cheers.

    Andy.

    Sorry Andy,

May be I' m a little too enthousiast for pics.

A lot of my pics are on my albums:

    http://community.webshots.com/user/speedymartin

    and on my albums in:

    http://www.rc-hovercrafts.com/links.htm

    and on our club site:

    http://perso.wanadoo.fr/rhonealpesmotonautique/

I promise to learn how to reduce them so much.

    Michel
