    Default Cullompton Success

A word of thanks (in my role as SW Chairman) to all at Cullompton, but especially Jim Waddell for a very succesful hovergo event yesterday. In all 45 people signed on, many being youngsters from the local youth club and Newton Abbot. Rides and cones training were given to as many as possible and the NA group seem to have become fired up to build a new hull for the craft they have got.

While many craft experienced minor breakdowns in the course of the day, Jon Curtis' sheet alloy craft, now christened the "Tin-Can" kept going all day on rides and training.

Most unusual craft was without doubt an elderly Eccles, which unfortunately refused to run both engines at the same time.

Thanks again to Jim, the lads and all who turned up for a great event
