    Default re-lining TZR barrels

I've almost a dozen TZR barrels which are unusable through damage or being too far oversize so i'm considering trying to re-line/re-sleeve them

the TZR liner is cast into the barrel so it's not a case of press one out and another in

has anyone tried machining the old one out and using a blank liner - if so where do you get them from - or is it worth having some cast - i know a small foundry owner

is there an alternative to cast iron ?

bit of a long shot but worth it if it can/has been done

    thanks in advance

    Tony
