Default Just thought I'd share this gem

Just been looking on a movie mistakes website and found this little gem about Die Another Day...

"Other: In the hovercraft chase scene at the beginning, when the Korean hovercraft flips over and hits the small bunker, it can be seen that it's got a flat, metal body on the underside - but they should have lift fans there; with no lift fans, they would not be able to float at all."

ALL of the small hovercraft used in the last Bond film were integrated craft and you would not see evidence of a lift system.

18 were built and I believe 13 of them were operational with Rotax engines.

The others had small 4 stroke engines just to make the fans rotate and give the appearance of operating.

These were used mainly to be blown up,crashed, set fire to, etc.

It was difficult not to shed a tear when you walked past the pile of 7 trashed craft(WITH BRAND NEW ENGINES)stacked in a pile by a fork lift

Oh Kip, shame on you, Jon is a superb racing driver who has been to every single race meeting for at least the last 5 years and was part of the Formula 503 championship winning team for the last couple of seasons!
