    Default 2 stroke expansion chamber

Does anyone have information on designing an expansion chamber? I bought my engine and now have no desire to use the stock exhaust. I want to design my own.

    Ideas?

Look through some threads in the old forum, i think there were a few on this subject.

Apparently the best book available is Graham Bell 2-stroke or something along those lines. You might have difficulty finding that over the pond though

is it possible to measure your old pipe - if it's an expansion chamber you wont go far wrong copying the diameters

look in the tips and trick section of my website on a method of making expansion chambers

the book by bell is good but doesnt give you definitive sizes you have to make some decisions yourself

    good luck with it
