    Default Hover to the rescue

Spotted this on the BBC News website: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/in_pictures/6910533.stm (take a look at the fourth picture in the sequence)

Looks like a fun way to get to school. Nice one Louise & Conrad!

All I can say is that I hope it doesn't run down hill into Kent.... we have enough water on the inside of our house already! - really don't need any on the outside too!!

I’ve spent all my life waiting for such a thing – We got flooded in !!

    Luckily it wasn’t our house.

Unluckily the hover is in bits – Too much time having a baby.

Luckily we didn’t have to go anywhere, as I have no social life now.

Hey ho. The way things are going there’re always be a next time.

However picking the kids up from school in your hovercraft – How cool is that?

My sympathies to any one who has had their house or car flooded.

what really pees me off is this is the second time it has flooded here, and the hover isn't here AGAIN!!!!

of course when there are no floods it's here and working, but no, not now:(

we get flooded reguarly down in wargrave (near the river), so all as normal:p we're on stilts (3' high!) only 1.5' to go before the house is under again ....

i took the boat out the other day, the current is tremendous! someone took their aston through the water, thoughtfully pushed it to the middle of a single track road and left it there bonnet up:p

quite fun though you could say...20knots on the river! (limit's 4knots:D)
