    Default inspection ports

    Hi,

there's these four 'inspection' ports in the deck to check inside the space (plenum?)...

they have 'Holt Allen HA337' on the cap.

I also have a large rubber 'o' ring, one for each, but they're too big to go inside the cap.

They're also too big to go underneath as the base piece is screwed to the deck.

Could it be that they go inside the caps but they've stretched with age?

    Any ideas please?

the only thing I can guess is the the bases are screwed onto the deck and then these rings go over them and sit on top of the deck, but they seem a bit loose for that, like they'd get lost if I unscrewed a cap...

    Regards

    Peter

    Hi,

    thanks!

I was already planning to squirt some sealer under the deck rings as I re-fitted them...

I thought that maybe the 'o' rings were there to seal the cap to the deck ring somehow.

That'll make the job a lot easier.

    Regards

    Peter
