    Hi Edi

    Welcome aboard!

Had a great time in Russia in January this year. My father has an agent out ther aiming to manufacture Flying Fish hovers under licence and i thought it might be good to go along. Had a blast, tho i don't know if i could survive anothe banya. For those of you that know my old man, take a look, its pretty funny. The rest of us vodka-fueled idiots stark b*****k naked (mostly covered you'll be relieved to hear) drinking beer and the old man sitting in a sauna reception with a jumper, teapot and (somehow) PG Tips.. Classic!

Dad was out there for various meetings and to inspect the first one off the 'line' - the craft at the beginning of the slideshow. met with another company building craft too. Towards the end of the slideshow, you'll find some pictures of their craft, can't remember what its called now, but its a funny looking beast with two small two strokes thrashing away and a skirt tied to gether with string.

Brilliant country, with some of the most welcoming people its been my pleasure to meet. And what a country for hovers, every river we saw was (a) huge and (b) frozen. Theres already a few hovers operating, they just need more!

Nice slide show, my computer froze up though, I assume from lack of memory before I could finish it.

Nice though, even the book crease added something to it all.

Considering their history with helicopters I guess we shouldn't be surprised the Russians decided to use contra-rotating fans!

I wonder how well they work???

What are the advantages/disadvantages (apart from complexity?)

(I can just imagine the scrutineers faces as they watch the enine started without a duct let alone a duct guard!)
