    hi



    on the drive in freezing cold, cutting out a skirt!



    the question is, shinny side where you can see the weave, outside or inside?

    Surely inside so the weave doesn't wear away? you'd want the plastic coating to be wearing out + the plastic's smoother

    Shiny (weave showing) is always inside as Toby says.

    this is what i was thinking but wanted to check!



    i'm pretty happy with the sev skirt tho, its not hard to make, nothing like the month or so sewing with the previous segmented skirt! bit of a pain to mark out, but glueing is very easy!

    Remember to put in the flotation strips (the tedious bit!). Argos do a nice line in flotation foam - otherwise known as camping mats at 4.99 each

    didnt think of that!



    yeh, that bit is boring! ive used some strips of plastazote! my knees hurt lol.



    A heat gun comes in very handy, with that glue!

    hears the finished skirt, still need to cut out the bow skirt!

    and its fitted to the craft, well not along the bottom but fixed all around the top! fitted first time!
