    Default Hovercraft on the news.

Now firstly I have no idea why I was even awake at 7.30 on a Saturday morning let alone watching the news but...

Anyone watch The One Show last night with Ann Widdecombe in Weston Super Mare? There was a hovercraft on the beach, who owns it? It looked like a five seater, sort of purple or dark red colour.

It's the new craft bought by Avon Fire & Rescue- a Griffon 380TD. It broke down a couple of weeks ago and they had to be rescued!

I'm afraid to ask what inspired that white skirt design detail.

That skirt looks sharp enough to put an eye out!!

Still any publicity is good publicity*

*Just ask Max Moseley, or perhaps not...

...And now the thing's all over the news cos someone left the chip pan on!!!

See the locals bleating on TV that there's no other attractions in Weston apart from the pier. Perhaps they'd welcome a big coastal hovercraft event. The local council were dead keen last time and this time they've got a support craft!

perhaps the local council have changed their angle, as they 100% refuse, point blank NO! to let me lauch my craft off the jet ski slip! the beach warden down there basically told me to F off

i think they have had some recent bad experiences with a numpty in a racing craft tearing up the beach! He has ruined it for others!

if you think you can get them to allow an event, then i would be very impressed, and also gratefull as its 30 mins from where i live.
