Default One for the petrol heads

I was working down at my mateís garage last week and took some video on my phone of him setting up a new ECU in his Racing Evo in the rolling road room that I did a lot of work on 2 years ago when he built it. I have watched this car turn from a standard car into an unbelievably fast Racing car over the past few years. Turn up the volume!

Impressive, wonder what the fuel cons. is like. My 200sx used up about 5km/l when pushed, and that was standard. Producing 700 odd HP from what looks like 2l engine and having 20 bar of boost, I am sure it gives "great" miles to the gallon when let loose.

Would love to drive it !!!!!!

    Hi Atters
He uses racing fuel, a 25ltr can costs £50.00 and the car will get 15 miles round the track on that. Not the cheapest form of motor sport
The engine is fitted with a stroker kit that lifts it to to 2.3L and I donít think there is a standard part left on that car. It is geared to hit 170mph rapid and it stops really quick as well
The last time I was out in it at the track with him it was around 550bhp and could do
0 to 160mph and back to 0 in a mile and that gives you a grin from ear to ear .
It turns out that the new cams that were fitted to the engine would only allow it to pull 740bhp on the dyno last week due to the intake valves opening for to short a time and not letting enough air in for the combustion, it should have been up around 800bhp so they will have to be pulled out and changed.

About the same consumption (or slightly better) as an F1 craft then!
    Cheers
