    Default Sand Banks & Estuaries

Hello I am new to Hovercraft but looking to get into it. Can anyone tell me if you are allowed to buzz along the offshore and estuary sandbanks of an estuary without incurring the wrath of the local authority. Is it necessary to get their permission to use the mudflats and sandbanks? Where is the limit of their juridsiction?

    Where are the mudflats?

You may find that they are a nature reserve or an area of natural interest. It is best not to keep buzzing around in any area. Cruisers tend to launch then go and explore not staying in any particulear area for very long, so not bothering people or wildlife. If you stick to one area you are likely to annoy someone even if no one lives within ten miles of the place.

There is a cruising hovercraft club, that may have some members near to where you want to go and play, they would probably have info on this area for you.

What craft do you have or intend using?
