Technical and Safety
Please note this is a private event to which all UK Hovercraft Cruising Enthusiasts are invited.
Therefore, it will be your responsibility to ensure your craft is stocked with enough fuel for each proposed trip and plenty of reserve, as well as having your own insurance in place and ensuring that all safety equipment is present and in good working order. All craft will be operated at the owner’s risk.
The crafts will be supported by a safety craft which will be on standby, and also a camera ship helicopter.
Due to local council, there are parking restrictions in place at the Heacham North Beach launch site, which will
prevent taller vehicles gaining access to the car park due to a height barrier. However, those with 4×4 vehicles and trailers will be able to access this car park and go directly to Heacham North Beach.

The slope will be too steep for a vehicle without 4×4 capability to tow a craft over it, to the slip way. These teams will be on standby all day and will also be able to assist on the return from the cruise back to the Snettisham car park.
